Pop-Up Session: New Beginnings
ABOUT THE EVENT We’re excited to announce a Pop-Up Sessions: New Beginnings.
In collaboration with Workish.Berlin, we present an intimate evening of contemporary and experimental music with three artists who are both performers and composers.
Each brings distinct influences to challenge how we listen. This session invites you to engage with intention and to question what media tells us music should be, and instead connect directly with compositions that bring kindness and authenticity to the craft.
Join us for a night that questions genres, invites an openness, and celebrates the art of composing.
Nina Clarissa Frenzel is a contemporary artist and composer working at the intersection of music, poetry, and visual art. Born in Dresden in 1998, she studied cello at the State Music High School “Carl Maria von Weber” and completed her degree at the University of Music in Würzburg in 2021. Since then, she has been living and working as an independent artist in the Oderbruch region of Brandenburg, where distance from the city has shaped a reflective perspective and open artistic practice grounded in attentiveness and renewal.
Centered on the cello and her own voice, Frenzel’s compositions belong to contemporary classical music while remaining deeply intuitive and exploratory. Her works often integrate unconventional sound sources such as monochord, gong, and percussion, exploring themes of origin, transformation, and becoming. Across concerts, recordings, and interdisciplinary projects, her music unfolds like a first movement. For us it represents an act of beginning that invites listeners into a space of presence, vulnerability, and new possibilities.
Aryaman Natt
Aryaman Natt is a classically trained pianist-turned-electronic musician based in Berlin. He has honed his sound and skills over many years of dedication to the piano, developing a deep love of harmony and colour. His journey as a musician has taken him from his home town London to Berlin as he explores the world of electronic music, blending his classical expertise with modern sounds. Aryaman’s compositions are characterised by indulgent and introspective harmonies that have a uniquely immersive quality, headphones on kind of vibe. His sonically crafted music is known for being an intimate and captivating auditory experience from the get go. Bridging the gap between tradition and innovation, Aryaman continues to refine and redefine a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly contemporary. For us, Aryamann‘s performance is as well a reflection on the roots and how we move forward, key to grounding ourselves into new beginnings.
Thomas MacMillan
Thomas MacMillan is originally from the remote Pennine region of Northern England. Composer and guitarist who has been an active force in Berlin’s independent music scene since 2018. Alongside performing with his alt-rock project Carnivalesque and collaborating with art-rock icon Kat Koan, he writes music for solo guitar. Drawing inspiration from video game composers such as Akira Yamaoka and Nobuo Uematsu, as well as the niche micro-genre Fogcore, his forthcoming EP “Negative Space” explores liminal spaces, analog horror, and nostalgia – a sound world that feels both comforting and quietly unsettling.

Our studio is the heart of this project and it all starts here.
It’s a space for music production and goes hand in hand with Max Rêve’s expertise in audio engineering.
Max Rêve Production it’s a creative space to give shape and form to arrangements, song composition, songwriting, song production, and recordings. With Max expertise, this space has been the a creation lab to tailor singer songwriter, indie, pop, orchestral sounds, atmospheric soundscapes, and many other musical projects from concept to completion.
During the weekends, and often once a month, Catherine and Max join forces to brainstorm concepts at the interface of music and communication.
To give our recording room a bit more of heart and soul, 310sessions came to live, in the room 310, in Frank-Zappa-Straße 11.

What started as a YouTube channel, or a digital platform to provide artists with an opportunity to have a professional audio and video material, often needed by upcoming artists for open calls and applications, has become a sense of community and our form of driving the needle towards where we would like to see a change in the music landscape.
Artists are invited in our studio to record a live session of about 20 minutes, or up to 3 songs. The sessions are often released every month. Artists get visibility through our YouTube channel and a link open-access to use for future references of their music.
